hey again!!!!

I recently surfed at Bournemouth Pier with two of my buddies on the West side of the pier in 1 to 2 ft mush, whilst 40 others tried to catch the wave on the other side.

Allo!! Well, we headed down to Croyde for a long weekend and were lucky enough to score some waves!!!!

Friday was poor and we were a bit gutted but a box of wine soon put that straight! So Me and Taff sat up drinking until the early hours round a little fire talking crap and waves.

Well, I’m back from my travels, and as usual with any surf trip you just never know what’s going to happen……………..

Ok, that's enough excitement for one night ha ha.

I've been unlucky enough to have a back injury that has kept me out of the water for the best part of a year. So, after many visits to the physio and much hard work training.....and dieting; I'm just about ready for my first surf trip in an age!

I'm off to Portugal on Saturday with my girlfiend to the West coast (I love it there), we're staying at Arrifana and will be travelling around for a week to get some WAVES! Hopefully I'll get her standing up too!

I'm going to take some photos and write some stuff about where I've been, what it was like and how I felt........yup I'm gonna be a CRAP SURFER and will be kooking it up at the start of the week but the forecast is small to start but building during the week, so with any luck I'll be half decent by the time it's time to return to cold water small waves on the South Coast of Blighty (altho Kimmeridge has been firing of late)!!!

I'm taking a 6' 3" fish and my buddy who lives out there (thanks Mark) will be lending me his 6'6" for the end of the week.

I can't wait to get back in the ocean, let my troubles drift away and connect once more to Mother Nature.

Phew.... It has been a long hard road! But WE ARE BACK. Bloody glad about it, just a few minor issues to solve then to start getting the big G to send us some more traffic, LOVELY!:.

Hi guys the bug got me enough to move to a location that the whole family could surf all year. Addicted yes not an hour goes by when we are not thinking of the next surf. Surfing all through the winter and taking bigger and bigger swells has been ace. Meeting some great poeople and goin home feeling alive with a buzz second to none is the way to be. This is a complete lifestyle and I salute you all crap to Pro. There is nothing much better than hitting those clean ones on a quiet day.

Now I don't claim to have invented this past time by any means, but I do feel I am certainly a pioneer for crap surfers everywhere.

 

Holy mary mother of god its only an hour till low tide and the waves are massive, it was time to leap into action, I figured because high tide was mid afternoon the only option for mid tide surf was about 10:30 11 am, and allthough I figured it would be fairly low its still better than nothing.

I have returned once again with something to say, Yesterday once again saw me and a couple of friends down at the new beach in shoreham, for the first decent swell for quite some time.
